Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Klypera is an on-device video editor. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Media and projects

Videos, photos, audio, recordings, edits, and project files are processed and stored on your device. Klypera does not upload your media or projects to our servers.

Permissions

Photo Library access is used to import media and save exports. Microphone access is used only when you record a voice-over. Speech recognition is used only when you request automatic captions. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.

Data we collect

Versions with advertising use Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google may process IP addresses (including approximate location), device identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and crash, performance and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and provide analytics. IDFA and cross-app tracking require your App Tracking Transparency permission. Refusing tracking does not prevent editing or exporting; ads may still appear without IDFA where permitted. Where required, UMP asks for your privacy choices before ad requests. You can change available advertising choices in Settings > Advertising privacy options and tracking permission in iOS Settings. Your videos and projects are not sent to Google for advertising. Google handles retention and deletion under its privacy policy. Contact us at gamepalsupport@gmail.com for privacy requests. Data controller

Klypera is published by Erdem Papakçı, an individual developer, who is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact the controller at gamepalsupport@gmail.com.

Firebase Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage. Automatically collected events such as app launches, sessions and engagement, app-instance and device identifiers, device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate location derived from IP addresses may be processed by Google. These records are not a cloud backup of your projects. We also record onboarding and screen navigation, project creation/opening/renaming/duplication/deletion, media type, editing features, presets, canvas ratio, caption language and segment count, setting changes, ad displays and errors, and export start/completion/cancellation/failure. Export measurements include resolution, frame rate, codec, HDR, clip count, duration range and processing time. Project names, typed text and media contents are not added as custom Analytics parameters.

Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to investigate crashes and non-fatal errors and improve stability. Reports may include stack traces, error details, installation and session identifiers, device and operating system details, app version, app language, editor clip count and export progress logs. Analytics events may provide diagnostic context. Diagnostic reports can remain on the device while automatic sending is disabled and may be sent when reporting is enabled.

Privacy choices

Available privacy choices can be reopened in Settings > Advertising privacy options. The app uses Google UMP status and stored device-access and measurement choices to enable or disable Analytics collection and automatic Crashlytics reporting together. When UMP reports that consent is not required, the app enables both. Existing choices are checked at launch and after privacy forms. When the app detects a change from allowed to disallowed, it resets local Analytics data and requests deletion of unsent crash reports; data already sent is not automatically deleted. There are no separate Analytics or Crashlytics switches. Apple tracking permission separately controls IDFA and cross-app tracking; refusing it alone does not disable these services. Accepting the terms is not consent to optional data processing.

Automatic captions

When you request captions, speech recognition runs on your device if supported. Otherwise audio may be sent to Apple for recognition. You can refuse or revoke speech permission in iOS Settings. This service is separate from Firebase and advertising.

Providers and retention

Google processes Analytics and Crashlytics data on its infrastructure, potentially outside your country. Analytics retention depends on the project settings and data type. Crashlytics retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting deletion. See Firebase privacy information. Cloudflare delivers our legal and support pages and processes connection information such as IP addresses to serve and secure them.

Support

If you email us, we process your email address, message and any attachments to respond to your request. Please avoid sending private media unless needed for your request. Correspondence is handled through our email provider; the app has no support form or account system.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to your local data protection authority. Send requests to gamepalsupport@gmail.com. As the app has no accounts, locating Analytics or crash records relating to you may require additional information.

Children and changes

Klypera has no accounts, chat or user-to-user messaging. Advertising and technical data processing are described above. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed. We update this policy when data practices change and request any consent required by applicable law.

Your control

You can delete projects in the app. Deleting the app removes local app data according to iOS behavior, but does not automatically delete data already sent to Google, support emails, exported videos in Photos or copies and backups stored elsewhere. Contact us for privacy requests.
